Welcome to NCDF!

The National Collegiate Dancesport Federation (NCDF) is a Federation of Collegiate Ballroom Dancers in the USA and Canada.

The NCDF is a non-profit organization and the purpose of which is to promote the art and sport of ballroom dancing among college students; providing opportunities for competitive and social dancing; fostering a community of dancers across institutions; supporting the development of skills, sportsmanship, and cultural appreciation within the collegiate environment.

*Collaborating and working closely with very established competitive DanceSport organizations.

*Creating a calendar of Collegiate events and Regional events both independently and with the USADance calendar where couples/dancers can accumulate ranking points towards prizes/stipends, encouraging ongoing participation.

*Creating a Dance Forum-where dancers can share knowledge, experiences and resources; partner search, costumes search/exchange/rent.

*Educational Library: with lectures, online classes, and a daily tip feature to further enhance the skills and knowledge of its members.

*Establishing relationships with high schools and high school students to educate  and interest them in participating universities.

The Federation is dedicated to establishing clear communication and collaboration among colleges and universities. By facilitating regular interactions and information sharing, we aim to create a cohesive network of collegiate dance programs. This includes coordinating joint events, workshops, and collaborative projects that strengthen the bonds between institutions and elevate the overall standard of collegiate DanceSport.

Moreover, the Federation is committed to supporting dancers through the creation of scholarship programs. These scholarships provide financial assistance to talented and dedicated students, enabling them to pursue their passion for DanceSport without the burden of financial constraints.

Additionally, NCDF is able to help educate and open doors for anyone interested in a career in the beautiful Ballroom industry.
